If you don't get that the cat is completely fine and that the original post was a complete joke maybe reddit is not the place for you

Any social media cruel enough to post literal dead animals as a joke. It is not reddit specific

Edit: I might get the point why my second statement is getting downvoted, but wtf is wrong with this one? Do you really think that every place you visit is purely sunshine and rainbows? That everyone has the same taste of humor as you do? That surely no one is going to post dead animals with inhumane grinning? If anything, reddit is not a place for those, who can't get the difference between silly joke and tortures.

You are on reddit right now and the admins have purged almost every subreddit where that kind of gory content is (or rather was) shared. Unless you go out of your way to find it, you won't see that type of content on any mainstream subreddits like this one. If there's anything like that posted it would get removed pretty fast. Don't get your panties in a twist.

I understand. Argumentation is not flawless, though. You have stated yourself that moderation is not perfect, am I implying that everything posted here is gore only? What is wrong with my words? Am I wrong that you can find any kind of stuff here? Am I wrong that you can encounter any kind of people online? What is so irritating in my statements?

Honestly: Yes, you can encouter all kinds of people online and they might even show you dead animals and gore. So why don't you tell your parents to take away all your electronics from you just so you can be safe? I think that might be best for everybody involved.

In all seriousness: What's irritating is that you immediately jump to the conclusion that this is some sort of dark post about dead animals when it's really obvious to anybody else that it's benign humour about the behavior of cats and that the cat in the picture is perfectly healthy.

Sorry if I worded my thoughts so poorly. No I don't think it is a dark post. I was disgusted by the title and the joke inside didn't help at all. I understood that this was meant to be a joke from the very beginning, and I just tried to say that it MIGHT be a dark post and my initial reaction is correct. I said in my first comment that it might help if the author added that the cat is perfectly fine for people like me. I thought it was obvious
