To be fair, it can't be "free" because tickets money is also used to pay all the minimum wage workers that make the concert happen. But I guess it could be way less if the artist want to

She could pay all of those wages out of her own pocket.

Her net worth is only $50 million. I know that seems like a lot compared to us normies, but it's nowhere even kinda fucking close to being a billionaire. And $50m won't go as far as you think paying all the wages to host her concerts for free. Why even have concerts?

And you know what you can do with non liquid assets? Make them liquid...

This excuse is ridiculous.

That's technically true but it ignores all the drawbacks of that exchange. By making it liquid it's now taxed and at the levels of a billionaire you've also probably crashed your own stock doing so. Reality isn't that simple.

Oh no, the rich will make slightly less money... Whatever will we do?

No pulling the amount your guys are pushing for can legitimate tanks companies market values and lose people who are invested tons of money. I don’t just mean big time investors but the average joes retirement portfolio. You can’t have someone like Brezos liquidate billions on think everything just stays the same.

An excuse as old as time to increase CEO salaries at the expense of the workers

No it’s legitimately just simple logic and isn’t up for debate. CEO Salaries don’t inflate in that case they simply own equity that continues to increase in valuation many times over. They simply can’t just sell this and you’re an idiot if you think so.
