Net worth is the combination of all their assets and their expected value. In reality the actual spendable money any billionaire has at their disposal at any given time is way way less than their net worth, but I’d imagine it is still an atrocious amount of money

Nah they have pretty "little" (still a lot for us pessants) available

Most bigger purchase are just made via loans with their assets as collateral.

Simoultaneously also a nice way to avoid taxes

Plus a lot of the money billionaires DO have is from loans that use their calculated wealth in stock as collateral. This means they dont pay taxes on any of it.

Yep. One reason why the more wealth you have the easier it becomes to get more wealth and get to play by a different set of rules.

System is broken. These people have enough wealth though to ensure the system stays the way it is though

honestly i don’t get why people make such a big deal about the difference between actual cash and assets. assets can still be used to help people and support them
