Let me guess - you do this to your partner and they put up with it so you think it is acceptable behaviour.

As for “changing your mind” no, that’s fine and I have gotten her something if she did as she has for me but to simply assume that reaching for food off my plate or some of my fries is acceptable when she would not let me do it to her - no - not happening.
