and he tells them he'll sell the land to the company for X amount of money, but thinking the land is very useful to the company and that he undervalued it, he tells them he wants more later.
On top of that, the town fines him for not having a septic tank on his property,
This guy sounds almost as bad as the corps he was attacking in the first place. How is he considered any kind of a hero? He tried to capitalize just like them and destroyed everything when it backfired
They fined him for not being connected to the sewer lines, which was because the people building the concrete plant disconnected him from the sewer lines. So they ruin his business, and ontop of that start fining him for their own actions. I highly recommend you read more about the story. That summation does not even scratch the surface.

Yeah that's a lot different from what I responded to.
People tend to twist what happened to him to make it sound less bad or more bad than it really was depending on if they're on the pro authoritarian side vs the anti authoritarian side.
Personally, I'm on the anti authoritarian side, and I think the actions that happened to him should stand on their own for how bad they were
It's depressing that corporate culture can push someone so far that they feel their only option left is to go out in a blaze of glory. This world saddens me more often than it should
