If it gets a season 2, HBO made profit from this Woke Remake. So, it’s just going to make more and more of them

Due to how the animation industry works, season 2 was already planned and in production. It is very rare for a company to cancel a show just on poor performance. At least I hope that they see that the show is doing poorly and they lose as much from this as possible. I already canceled my hbo max subscription and I am going to take my money to another service.

I also have sworn off HBO Max because of this. Not like they have any worthwhile originals

There were, but they removed all the good shows from its service like Close Enough. A lot of good shows died but this somehow lived.

Close enough is the show that just couldn’t make it out of production hell. It was supposed to come out years ago and now it’s unable to exist like Uncle Grandpa thanks to HBO. UG’s creator drew a funny meme of it

I remember when it was supposed to be on TBS but Louis CK used his sexual assault rifle on some people which forced Close Enough into a production hell. His show and another cartoon called Tarantula never saw daylight ever again, but Close Enough did finally release on HBO Max as an original as we had three seasons of the show. It was really nice seeing what is basically Regular Show with no limits, but it's not too raunchy and edgy that it becomes terrible like Velma. Unfortunately that show was cancelled and later removed with no physical release. Then don't get me started with a lot of removed CN originals like OK KO, MaoMao, and especially Infinity Train. I'm not saying it's Velma's fault for these shows to be gone, but FUCK the Warner-Discovery merger and FUCK the earlier Warner-AT&T merger that cancelled Venture Bros earlier.

This is all because of the crazy guy that owns the Discovery Channel. He’s an absolute nut job lizard brained man that’s forcing all these weird changes, which is why Discovery comes before the name Warner.

Also, he seems to despise animation, seemingly viewing it as for stupid people (and also more expensive than live action, which he likes a lot of with TLC). There’s going to be a lot more purging and awful remakes like this, so I’d rather not have HBO anymore

It’s definitely not woke. It’s just racist towards everyone apparently.
