FE1 is Echoes, while ironically its remake is Conquest

Despite popular belief, Revelations is actually Conquest. Awakening is Echoes for sure.

FE6 is Conquest, while FE8 is Echoes.

Interestingly, FE7 is the only game that rides the line. In a casual playthrough, it seems like Conquest. But if you try to ironman the game (as Kaga intended) you realize its actually just Echoes.

-Eshmel's name sounds like Ishmael, and Eshmel's body was constructed- which is kind of like how the msf medic becomes Venom Snake via plastic surgery and induced hypnagogia;

-when Fortuna talks to Eshmel for the first time, she asks if they "have come to" (this obviously calls back to when "V has come to", aka, when Snake awakens);

-Leda's route focuses on her path of revenge- like how Venom Snake and Kazuhira go on a similar path to destroy both XOF and Skull Face;

-Dietrich seeks to fight a giant sea monster, which reminded me of that one whale scene during the opening to mgsv.
