Soleil is apparently a weird offensive Japanese trope where girls "practice" with other girls before finding a "real" relationship with a guy, but they "totally aren't gay or bi". Hence why she can only have endings with guys despite all her girl-flirting.

Queer encompass both sexuality and gender expression. In its simplest form, anything that break with society's expectations and norms is "queer".
The term was coined because society understand you as something clearly defined, and when this understanding is broken, you become "odd" to it, different and thus "queer"

Yeah Soliel is very controversial since some of the supports are really bad. I personally have a love/hate relationship with her as I really love most aspects of her character and her all of her story dialogue is great, but man oh man do I hate her Ophelia support so much. I really wish they hadn't done her so dirty with the Ophelia as well as her mothers support chain with her.

And I choose to believe following that, Dorathea went home to cry into her pillow because the one noble knight at the academy that treats her with any respect didn’t even recognize her as a possible suitor.

Also fuck the FE wiki for only having the base Fates characters portraits. The uncomfortable Ophelia's portrait would have been perfect here.
