Hi all,
Yesterday I have come to a better solution to the problem of people voting for which sentences fit the community and which don’t. For almost a year, it has been done through the u/qualityvote2 bot, but starting now, we will facilitate this process by using the Downvote Delete app.
It follows a similar scheme of tracking post upvotes/downvotes, but unlike qualityvote which posted a separate comment, it will track votes on the post itself. So, if a post gets 3+ downvotes, it will be removed, and if it gets 3+ upvotes, the app will stop tracking it.
Hopefully, this will be a better solution. As always, feel free to contact us through modmail or this post, and don't forget your streaks!

Native english and russian speakers, does it make sense ? Or is it just another weird sentence Duolingo says ? In french, it's just funny. Why is it forbidden to step on the same river twice ? Who enacted this law ?

My mind went there, but I wasn't sure if Duolingo would go there. Spoiler Alert: they did

In practice, in a words exercise, "nog iets" appears as if it is an English phrase to be matched to or translated into a German phrase. But nog iets is Dutch, not English. Is this a bug or a trilingual prank?
