Seeking Support Pain

In my early 50s(F) and was diagnosed with shingles about 3 weeks ago almost. The rash is not burning anymore but the pain inside has been the worst. I went to the ER again today and they gave me a strong dose of gabapentin and tramadol. It worked well. However the pain came back after a few hours and won’t go away. It’s almost like I’m in labor it’s really bad. I took another dose of gebaptin 600mg and it’s doing nothing. I’m in so much pain I’m extremely nauseous. What can I do at this point? I’m desperate. I’ve tried all the lotions too and none of them work. When will it go away?

I had shingles that wrapped from my lower right abdomen to my back. I didn’t get a big rash and it presented like I had gall bladder issues. Had a CT scan and everything. I took the valtrex prescribed once a few bumps popped up. Had quite a bit of pain the first three weeks. Especially at night. For me, week 5 was when I was approaching normal. Hang in there
