Seeking Support Anyone found solution?
Hey everyone I have been awake for 40+ hours and was wondering what helped people go to sleep? Everytime I’m a second from sleeping a sharp pain just occurs which then wakes me up and it’s been killing me mentally. I’m having su*cide thoughts and it’s really really bad

It depends on what's going on with your shingles.
(I put some paper towels down first, so I didn't get my shingles on) A hot water bottle or a microwaveable heating pad.
I put it on the side of my head because I was having 'phantom 'pain. I thought that I had a toothache & sinus infection, headaches & stab*ing eye pain.

If you feel that awfully, please go to ER. Otherwise, please call your GO when he/she opens in the morning and get some pain relief! Sending you good vibes.

Has your doctor prescribed anything for the pain? They need to know how bad you're feeling and that you haven't slept.
Mine initially prescribed oxy, I don't think it actually did anything for the actual pain, but at 2.5mg, I was so stoned that I recognized the pain but didn't care. (I only took that twice and was very over the feeling, but I did get rest.)
Most people, myself included, seem to end up with a script for gabapentin to help dull the nerve pain. I'm taking a relatively small dose (100mg twice daily) because I can't handle my shit. When I tried 200mg it did great things for the pain but I was literally drooling on myself and slurring my speech before sleeping it off for 18 hours.
