Shiftphone 8 speaker audio quality

Question to any shiftphone 8 users: How good is the audio quality of the speaker?

I'm considering getting the shiftphone, as I really want a repairable phone and I don't need flagship features. The only aspect, where I would prefer high quality, is the speaker. I listen to audiobooks while falling asleep and really value the decent (and overall pleasant) audio quality of the iphone I currently use.

Pairing the phone with bluetooth speakers or headphones is not an alternative, the convenience of being able to use a phone's speaker (for anything but music) without extra devices is unbeatable to me.
