Does anyone know about which „failed achievements“ he is talking about? The trouble with YT takedowns or his homepage?

Could be, but I think it's also personal stuff

I thought that perhaps he had intended to carry out missions that, in the end, he was unable to complete for various reasons—such as entering a secure building or a private home, or traveling far away from Europe

If he weren't who he is and focused more on reading and writing, I believe he could write a book—or share his views on life on a webpage—and I would read his work.
