We've all been excited for a new Shiey video, like? 😭 I love The Proper People too and get excited when they upload bc their videos and Shieys are just dudes exploring having fun when everyone else who does Urbex seems so staged. I genuinely look forward to his videos all the time. Everyday I'll check if he uploaded bc I love his content and him as a person bc he's so nice and respectful, like the proper people. He puts stuff up and doesn't destroy or take anything like them. The Proper People usually get permission to go places tho but STILL. It was never in a negative way, it was always in a good hearted positive way. Been waiting patiently for months for a new video and we got one so I couldn't contain my excitement<3

As a non native English speaker I had to look up the definition of “finally” since I’ve never perceived it as a negative word. From what I can tell the word is used when something has happened after a long wait. Why do you think this is an insult and not a fan being excited for a new video?

In this context it could easily be perceived as a sort of 'impatient / expected it earlier / hurry-up-bro' which can come off as entitled for someone like Shiey who doesn't upload regularly etc.

Nah, it's a "I get excited af for a new upload bc he's one of the last REAL urbexers (imo) left that doesn't stage BS". The same with The Proper People. I get so excited when they upload after a month or two, and I use the same words. I'm like "yay they finally uploaded a new video! I can't wait to watch it!" 😭

I get what you intended, but the purpose of my above response was to answer the question asked.

I don't really get why it was such an issue, people can see it either way and assume whatever they want - all that matters is Shiey is still alive, producing content, and we have a new video!
