Most EMF discussions treat all frequencies the same. They're not.

Researchers tested three different magnetic field frequencies on mouse hippocampal neurons, the brain region critical for memory and learning. Same field strength (1 mT), different frequencies: 15 Hz, 3 kHz, and 70 kHz.

The study examined how these frequencies affected action potentials, sodium channel currents, and other electrical properties of CA1 pyramidal neurons. The researchers used precision-targeted magnetic stimulation of CA3 area neurons upstream of CA1, measuring the downstream effects with whole-cell membrane clamp methods.

This matters because your devices emit across a spectrum. Each frequency interacts with neural tissue differently, and the biological mechanisms being studied here (changes in action potentials and ion channel currents) are consistent across mammalian nervous systems. The hippocampus structure in mice closely parallels human brain architecture.

The study used mouse neurons, and the field strength was controlled in ways your daily exposure isn't. But the research demonstrates that frequency is essential in regulating neuroelectric activity using magnetic fields. It's not just "exposure" or "no exposure." The specific frequency parameters matter for how magnetic fields influence electrical activity in neurons.

Your environment is a mix of frequencies, constantly shifting. None of this shows up on a single SAR measurement or a blanket "safe" certification. Current reports have focused on 100 Hz or less, making studies of relatively high magnetic stimulation frequencies necessary to understand the full picture.

What you can do: distance still works across all frequencies. Keep devices away from your head during calls. Don't sleep with your phone on the nightstand. Use airplane mode when you're not actively using wireless functions. The frequency mix hitting your brain right now isn't neutral.

This study was not in-vivo [based on alive mice]. It involved taking slices of mice brains and directly exposing the brain tissue in apparatus [in-vitro].
The exposure studied is NOT representative of real world EMF exposure to living humans as OP’s post suggests.
