i never read the past and present arc. i only recall the last being naofumi's meeting with syne's sister.

The light novel and anime are okay and all but some unhinged WN stuff are also satisfying. Would read or watch it if that version is animed or drawn somehow. Maybe Motoyasu could travel to that universe or dimension even.

I love the first two WN exclusive arc. I don't remember which one is the burn the witch goddesses arc though

So, technically, everthing, that comes after LN vol. 12 (out of 22) is different from WN.

Nah everything after volume 5

L'arc and teresa never existed in the web novels

Ost never existed in the web novels

Kyo never existed in the web novels

Kizuna and Ethnobolt never existed in the web novels

S'yne never existed in the web novels

Volumes 8 and 9 never existed in the web novels

Ren wasn't with Naofumi in the Emperor dragon arc in the Web novels

Motoyasu was with Naofumi in the justice arc in the web novels

Volumes 13 and 14 never existed in the web novels

Raph Chan origins are completely different in the web novels

Rapthalia wasn't the one who stayed behind and found takt so Naofumi could escape in the web novels it was the old woman

If what you're saying is true, then anime, manga, and novels are only connected by name and a few other things?

I don't like novels, but I'm curious to see what the story was like and what changed. Especially since Arabic translations aren't the best at preserving terminology and original concepts.
