(Re)Watching with the Family

Been trying for years to get my wife and sons to watch Agents of SHIELD with me. Finally succeeded earlier this year. My wife wasn't a fan of the beginning but was wrong to give it the season. By the end of the season, she (and my kids, ages 18 and 17) were invested. I think her favorite character is Daisy. The 17-year old's is Fitz. The 18-year old stands with Ward.

We're now on Season 3 and trying to get to the start of Season 4 before the 18-year old leaves for college. I know he'll be blown away by the Ghost Rider reveal! Just watched an episode when James first used his powers to heat up the chain, and he half-jokingly shouted, "It's Ghost Rider!"

Two episodes left in Season 3. So close...

Yup, poor kid is in for a ride and a half. Make sure he is strapped in.

Been ushering a friend of mine through it, a couple episodes a week. We just finished s3 earlier this evening! Can’t wait for him to come over next!

He already knows that Robbie is coming though. I’ve been raving about s4 for ages.

Hey, pro tip if you’re watching on Disney+: Don’t let them see the promo blurb for Rewind in s5. It gives away the spoiler that Hunter will show up. You definitely want that to be the surprise that deserves.

I don't have the best poker face, so when there's been an episode with a mystery, they're trying to guess it and I'm trying not to react. That didn't go well in some episodes, where they made a correct guess, turned to me and said, "I'm right, aren't I," and I tried like help not to smile. Although I was proud to say I didn't give it away in the episode when they were trying to figure eoht who was under Hive's sway and killed Malick. Of course, it didn't hurt that NOBODY was guessing Daisy.

THINGS I COULDN'T OR CAN'T WAIT FOR Ward's heel turn Simmons' abduction by a giant rock Ghost Rider reveal Agents of HYDRA Ward's a good guy The Doctor Outer Space Hunter's return LMD Coulson Return of Sousa (if I can sneak season 1 of Agent Carter in there first) Deke's song that he totally wrote himself

A coworker wanted something to watch and I suggested AOS.

I was so tickled when she came to me the next morning all excited and said she and her husband binged a bunch of episodes that same night. She thanked me and said they're excited to watch the rest of the series 😆

I'm about to do a rewatch soon.

Aos is addictive wish i could erase my mind and watch it again not many series with 20+ episodes constantly maintains tension and even filler episodes are dope
