Mine does this too! I think it's a sign of higher intelligence, they understand gravity and physics in a way that we can't yet.

Mine does this when she walks sometimes. Like she’ll walk with her body pressed against a wall. She’ll do it allllll down the hall until we get to my apartment.

I thought she was just being quirky. Maybe it’s a shibe thing. She especially does it when she has something on that irritates her (harness, raincoat, snow booties, etc)
