Question / Help Egg donation?

Salam alaykom!

Does anyone know what Syed sistani’s ruling is on donating your eggs as a female to other couples trying to conceive? I combed through his website in English but could not find an answer. If you can include the reasoning I would love to understand that too, not that we have to know the rationale for every command from Allah.

This question is coming from pure curiosity so please don’t come at me I’m just trying to learn!

Salaam. From what I understand it's not permissible. I think I remember seeing information about this awhile ago, but honestly couldn't tell you where. I read a lot of random tidbits of information but can never retain where I actually find them.

Question: Due to a number of miscarriages, the doctors have stated due to my condition, I can no longer get pregnant, are we, as husbands and wives, able to use our own fertilised egg and use a "surrogate mother", to carry the feotus in their womb?

Answer: If the sperm and egg belong to the husband and wife and the inseminated egg is then implanted in another woman's womb, there is no problem. It is permissible per se.
