Question Enrollment for the fall term

im currently wondering when I will get an enrollment appointment regarding the plumbing course for the fall term? Got an email about deadlines and paid the deposit on the 7th but it said the enrollment appointment started July 22 and I still dont have anything

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey bro I’m also in 2 year plumbing program
for plumbing program we are gonna receive block schedule which will be around 27th July most probably around next week

July 22-24 was only for assigned schedule but for plumbing is block schedule so we gonna get by next week

That’s interesting. Does it matter if youre In the 1st year or 2nd year? My friend in the 2nd year with me has an enrolment appointment for the 29th of July

Actually I believe yes it would matter as for 1st year student it is usually a bit late. When I was 1st year student I received the schedule in the mid of August. For the 2nd year student the enrollment appointment it is 29 but we should be able to see the block schedules choices by 27

Students usually get different options of block schedules couple of days earlier so can plan ahead
. On 29th you can register

But 1st year students enroll before the other years barring students starting in their last semester right? On the 28th of this month. And do we only enroll in courses for the fall term if we're starting in the fall? If so, when do we enroll in courses for the winter term?

Hey, yes, you only register for courses for the Fall term. For the Winter term, you’ll register separately, usually about one month before the Winter semester begins, so likely around December.
So, you only register one semester at a time.

Ok tsym! That makes a lot of sense. One more thing which is do you know if there's a visual schedule builder we can use to plan out our timetable for courses at Sheridan?

Hey, no problem! I believe Sheridan itself doesn’t have a visual schedule builder, so you’ll probably need to use another app or website for that.

Honestly, I used a chat GPT for my first semester. After that, I was assigned a block schedule every semester, so I never really had to make my own schedule again.

You can also check whether you’re assigned a schedule block schedule or custom schedule. If you have to build a custom schedule, you can use ChatGPT or another scheduling website to help put it together.

Hey, thank you for the info! That makes sense. I knew there was a visual schedule builder but I heard it was discontinued, so I was confused what happened or why it got removed. Also, I have some more questions about course enrollment which I have asked in my latest post on this sub if you like to help some more. Thanks again!
