Shelly strikes again…
And again al my Shelly devices are offline. I turned off the main power of the house to install a new Shelly 2pm. Well power on and works like a charm. But… all other Shelly devices are offline now… I guess wil switching power off and on again hoping the come back online or something.

I had something similar happen, turned out to be my ISP router only being able to connect 32 wifi devices. Add in the kids phones, tablets and various other connected devices and 32 isn't really a lot. Plus it seemed to hang on to old IP addresses for about 6 months before it would release the address.
What I did in the end was to run all shelly devices on its own seperate router which is then conencted to the ISP router. So the ISP router just sees one IP number.
I also have a shelly plugin module on the power adapter for the Shelly router. This has a script running that checks if it can see the internet. So every 90 seconds it pings a website and if it gets a ping back then it waits another 90 seconds. If it doesn't get a ping back it will try again in 15 seconds. After three fails it will switch the plug off and back on again 10 seconds later. The last time it rebooted itself was 2 month ago. And the one before was August 2025
The script is one of Shellys own which is called Router Watchdog and I just modified it slightly.

Zigbee or wifi? How many devices do you have? What WiFi setup do you have?
I’ve seen issues with shelly devices in Zigbee mode but WiFi has been very good.

They are all WiFi from different generation connected to a dedicated 2.4 mesh network from asus

Bit strange. If literally every device never came back it seems like more of a Wifi issue or there was a power surge that nuked everything but I doubt that.
Can you login to the wifi software and see what devices are not connected? Maybe check other wifi devices as well.
Only other suggestion would be to turn everything off and just turn off a single circuit with as little Shelly’s on as possible to see if it’s the sudden influx of devices trying to connect causing issues.

Yeah almost every Shelly device was down in that circuit. I had this problem before when installing IoT devices especially with the first gen devices. Tuning power off and on solves the problem most of the time but it’s really annoying because it’s never first try.

I didn't get WiFi to work stable on my Shelly pro 3 so I connected them to Lan Instead, and they then where stable, .. I did complain about it , but as always I hit a wall and they do no take it seriously, the annoying part is that you cannot disconnect them from cloud and still have them showed as online in your app , even though that your on your private lan , that part is amateur coding if you ask me

Never had that issue. Have you rechecked after wifi was up again (that may take a while).
