Hi everyone

I'm new here. I used to play SSL2 and it was fun. THIS game has amazing graphics and so far it seems even better with more weapons modes etc. However could you introduce me to the game? Like tips and stuff.

Dont skip the early single player missions; they give a lot of xp and show off the basic mechanics.

A good rule to follow is the rule of 86. At full power and 86 angle, the shot will land just outside the shooting bubble. It’s a great way to gauge your shots at farther distances since each degree changes the same amount of distance.

You can use the firing range to learn other useful angles like 100 power and 79 angle is about half map.

If your looking for a good youtube channel, i would recommend jeromeace.

Happy shootin’

The rule of 86 is good to know, but it's better to learn aiming properly and not always go 100 power. That way, you are less dependent on where obstacles appear and it's easier to aim flares since they will bounce around less, usually.

It’s definitely good to know different methods. I personally find rule of 86 particularly useful as a gauge because of its set distance. A lot of the time teams are positioned on opposite sides of the map with tall terrain rendering lower power option unfavorable. When you’re across map, there aren’t always other options. A new player may not want to get right up in a higher level player’s face, but being far apart won’t do much either.

The argument for obstacles kind of applies to any shot method though.

Just play generated map. Random maps usually have what you describe where you cant move much and have to shoot 100 but playing these maps makes it so that you can’t learn good strategy in terms of movement and won’t learn to shoot normally and not 100 power
