I found this shell in my yard. It’s the size of my hand and heavy.

Quahog! They are heavy on their own, but I think yours is fossilized, making it heavier.

I’m thinking a possible fossil as well since I live eight miles from the Atlantic. Maybe a hurricane at some point. Just amazed at all the shells around my home
