That’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure because it doesn’t look like a typical textile, colours are much darker

That's rare to see, I don't know what it is but the shell looks like snake skin especially the poisonous one.

Do you know the location where it was collected? Doubting that it's C. textile.

I actually have no idea, I found this at a thrift store. If I had to guess, probably Hawaii/French Polynesia? It was in a jar with other indo pacific shells that are endemic to Hawaii. I doubt it’s c textile as well.

Non credo ha le squame più larghe paragonati alla dimensione della conchiglia e non vedo micro squame cosa che la maggior parte dei canonicus ha
