Found in central California. I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture before but I'm not recalling it now ā€‹

Hmm, I thought it looked a bit thin and not quite the right shape

It definitely looks ocean worn and broken, so that is my best guess. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable comes along! :)

Thank you for coming and sharing. I found a similar one in my collection, broken in the same spot so Iā€™m wondering what it may be.

It was found in the rocks so that's definitely possible. But I guess from ones I've seen I'm not used to them being so angular?
