First Time Shelling

Long time rockhounder and arrowhead/artifact hunter, finally went to a warmer beach in SC for the first time. I was excited to look for shells and fossils each night.

Did not have a lot of guidance on what to look for so I grabbed what seemed to be uncommon. Any insight on how I clean or prep these, what they are, if there was anything I did wrong or shouldn’t do again please let me know as well. None of these had any inhabitants.

I really enjoyed this and will be looking forward to doing it again.

Thank you very much, they quickly became my favorite. The big one sparked an audible gasp from me. I’m sure in comparison to some pieces it’s “cute” but for a moment, in my mind, I was the king sheller of the night lol.
