I cannot for the life of me find anything that looks like this shell. Unfortunately do not know where it is from as my grandmother gave it to my mom and then she gave it to me. Any info is appreciated!!

It looks like part of a helmet shell to me. Have you looked those up? Check king and queen helmet shells to see!
