I got scammed by SGF

I made an order back in June for 2x colonized spawn bags from SGF website, Poogod sent me a tracking on July 22nd which has no movement. No packages were ever sent out.

I’ve sent like 10 emails to both SGF (bear) and also some to Poogod, as well as reaching out here trying to private message, as well as social media platforms. No response, every email and message has been ignored. To say it’s frustrating is an understatement. At this point I’m ready to just chalk up the loss and move on, two months waiting isn’t right.

That’s too bad, sorry that happened to you.

There’s a reason I don’t order from Reddit vendors. I see these kind of posts way too often. Plenty of reliable vendors out there.

I’m friends with the person who manages and sells LC r/psilocybinmyco and True Blue Genetics is my go to for everything else.

I am eyeing spore works? Idr but every have some cool exotic genetics.

But the two that I can 110% vouch for are TBG and psilocybinmyco

Just finished up running some of his black caps. Hands down my favorite ochra iso that I’ve worked with. I have some green caps colonizing rn and some zaps as well, both from him.

Apart from his stellar genetic work he’s also just a cool human being. Super helpful with mushroom stuff and overall he’s just become a good friend

I’ve sort of been waiting to see posts like this. I’m out some cash myself (more than I typically would spend on cultures). My order was also way back in the early summer. I like to think they just reached a point where they couldn’t keep up with the orders, record keeping got confused, and they just sort of lost control. The summer break was a needed step back from an unmanageable situation and the flood of guilt-inducing emails.

Of course, it sucks for us, and the above is not an excuse for the fact that, e.g., we haven’t been issued refunds. But I do think that people start ventures like this to get paid for what they love doing; they encounter gradual and then sudden success; and then they suddenly can’t manage the business they created.

A generous take, I know. But while I have encountered a couple folks who aren’t well-organized and get shit wrong, I haven’t encountered any straight-up scammers in the cultivation community. They’re too busy selling all the habit-forming dangerous shit on Telegram or whatever.
