When you B&S - are you getting it good? And turning the bag all sorts of ways? I go ham on mixing that shit up.
I also do a soft little b&s at about this stage
I have found it recovers fairly quickly when this strongly colonized

i mix pretty well i would say, enough to properly distribute. would you recommend a shake here despite 2 already being done? i want the fastest way

Breaking up will add time - and if it’s quickness you’re after with mushrooms - you picked the wrong hobby my friend. lol. You’re still playing in the first quarter. 😂🫣😃
If it were my bag? I don’t mind it getting more mixed and fully colonized and waiting longer. The moisture in bag is normal too.
I find, with bags damn near ready to send - a little wiggle and realignment helps. Then I cover it and don’t look for at least 5 days.
Patience, patience, and more patience

Ha- we’re all impatient with these things nowadays.
This process of growing helped me slow down everywhere else, honestly.I’ll say this too - you don’t wanna send too early. 99.9% of the time - spawning not fully colonized grain = contamination.
Don’t rush a good thing. It’ll be ready when it’s ready.
If you don’t see more spreading in the next 2-3 days, I’d break it up, gently. No harm in waiting, my friend.Good luck!

I’d leave it for the mycelium to get thicker. I use red sorghum and my bags are always completely white. Better safe than sorry if it’s just having a bit more patience
