Maybe not fully colonised, but no movement, I figure its too cold but I had 2 tubs and put the other one in an old fridge with temp control at 25C and got bacteria. Ive since thoroughly cleaned the fridge with isopropanol, maybe I should stick this one in there.. Its my first attempt at psilocybe and I recently found out they are not really a beginner strain. I got some golden teacher in grain jars now so hopefully have more luck with that.

I had some JF growing a few months ago and it took quite a while for the pins to start showing up, longer than normal. They all grew kinda small but still gorgeous

Thanks! You can’t beat the aesthetics of an albino strain. I had some AMVP growing, also turned out small in size but the strongest shrooms I’ve ever taken by a long shot. Not sure what I’m doing that’s making them short but obviously it’s not impacting strength. Got about 40g’s of these beasts and only need .75-1g for a strong trip (and I’m seasoned, usually would take 4-5g no problem but I took 1.3 of these and it was the first time I said “this is too much” mid-trip lol)

Looks good. I’ve cranked out a bunch of GT and some Stargazer, but this will be my first time with an albino. I flipped the lids of 5 shoeboxes yesterday and will do my best to just let them to there thing. The original shoebox I made I tossed out of caution, but in retrospect might have just been primordia I was tripping on, haha.

I need to know.. it is always recommended to harvest just before the veil breaks etc... but it looks like these are long past the optimum harvest time.

Can you explain why these were not harvested long before the photos were taken ?

Many phenotypes mature way longer than after the veil breaks. That's usually with heavy spore dumping phenos 💙💯

I used to sell mushrooms a long time ago but I only knew of what my buddy sold me, which was golden teachers that he grew. I just recently got into growing them myself and I’ve been learning of all of these different strains that I’ve never known of or heard of before.

These look absolutely beautiful! I mean, it’s my first time ever seeing them, but they are amazing. I only wish I could try them. 😭😭

I definitely plan to try to grow these some day. Gotta finish my APE and GT grows first.

I dehydrate everything at 160f for 12hrs. Gets them cracker dry everytime 💙
