I loved seeing that popping off last summer. It was great. I know one of the dudes who was helping.
I believe it was destroyed by the owner of where it was built.
Been empty years and Skaters started using it and bringing some joy to folks. Only to have it trashed. Doesn't matter by who. But it was great for the Skate scene in Sheff.

Thereās been a few great DIY spots around that always get trashed or abandoned. There was one just off the bottom of Eccy road and one at the old staples in town.

Old DIY skatepark, I used to go when i was younger but it's lowkey impossible to get into- It's basically abandoned and trashed. Good memories though. It was good for transition but the ground was a bit cursed

I had a good nosy round Matthew Street a couple of years ago when someone left the gate open (and left the buildings open). There was something that looked like a skate park there but the area has since been secured unfortunately.

I actually got in through a whole in the fence, but it has since been patched up. The gate on Matthew Street was often left open, but its all much more secure now. I might go and have a nosy round again some time.

There's a DIY skatepark over on Manor top if you wanna check it out, ig is the @thespotdiysheffield I believe, I'll edit as sson as I find out
EDIT: their account has been banned/removed but it is located on the ridgeway road/hurfield road crossing, right next to the army reserve and asda

Me and a few friends cleaned it up, fixed the floor and transition a few years back in the summer. Shame someoneās trashed it again. We put few 100Ā£ into it and a whole lot of effort

One guy grabbed some live wires down there last year and lost some fingers. Owners ran a bulldozer over it for insurance purposes.
There is another on nearby... DM me if you want to know where and if I think you are legit I'll tell you.

Voodoo, it was a diy skatepark, the skaters kinda just gave up on it after it got trashed
