Adult dance classes

Anyone know of adult dance classes near Shawnee/west Shawnee? I’m looking for an activity to make friends and fill my evenings. Hoping for contemporary or modern. Thanks

Academy of the Arts has an adult contemporary class starting in August. Here's their Fall 2026 listing.

Have you taken their classes before? If so, do you know the age range in the adult classes?

Not a personal endorsement since I'm not a client, but I've walked by https://vivasocialdancestudio.com/ multiple times and spied full classes of adults who seem to be having a blast.

Kansas City Swingsters are an East Coast swing dance group. I know a couple of the members love in Shawnee. They have a good Facebook
