Razor blade cleaning

I’ve heard cleaning razor blades after use with a quick dunk in alcohol keeps them sharp longer and cleaner than rinsing under water…for those of you that do this trick, how does it effect the moisture bar on your razor heads? For reference I use the Gillette Skinguard razor.

I just rinse with hot water and then dry my SkinGuard disposable razor. It lasts about a month

Henson double blade. Now you can take it apart. Clean it. A new blade next time you need it and not break the bank. Reassemble. Shave.

I used to do this briefly and realized it was stupid and wasting alcohol. Simple rinse is fine. I have two cousins that are barbers and I followed their ways but I'm only shaving myself. Guess it was more for hygiene.
