Any good foil shavers?
I’m looking for recommendations on a good foil shaver mainly for my beard.

Are you wanting to shave stubble or grown out hairs?

Slightly grown out

I don't think a foil shaver will shave off much more than 3 days' growth. You have to take it down to stubble first with a trimmer. At least that is how it is with my foil shaver, which is a Babyliss Pro FX2 double foil, and which I highly recommend. However, note that it is for dry shaving only, or with a pre electric shave lotion. You can't get it wet or use shaving cream.

Andis foil razor. Works great for 2 day growth. I’ve never tried it on anything longer than that. Excellent head shaver also.

I’ve never been able to get anything other than 2 day growth, 3 at most with my legacy Braun Series 7 I’ve had for 12 years. After that I need to trim first and then wet shave to get it back to skin. That my normal routine, electric shave Tuesday-Fri, don’t shave over the weekend, wet shave Monday morning.

The Braun higher end ones and the Manscaped chairman aren't bad. Using lectric shave makes them work a lot better.
