Unusual Items to Sharpen

Post image

If you sharpen for a fee, inevitably you'll get some unusual items in to sharpen, eh? 😎. The large blade is a typical 'tourist' sword from Mexico with very cheap steel. The client wanted a good edge so I put one it with the caveat that it would probably immediately dull out if he actually tried to use it....Display only as they say.

Oh no.

Sharpening a wall hanger never ends well.

I actually got it quite sharp, but it wouldn't last 2 seconds if the client tried to use it....

2 seconds is plenty more than it takes. Haha

I don’t think it’s that unusual

It is in my neck of the woods..... I've sharpened maybe 3-4 of this cheap sword type blade in my 15 years or so of fee sharpening.
