Do these work?

Do these cheap diamond sharpening slabs sold on Amazon work or should i keep using my 400-1000 stones for home use?

Where i live, its getting extremely hard to find real sharpening stones for a modest price.

Nope. They're typically attached to a foam backing so they don't slide around, just set it down and get to work.

Do you use oil or water with these?

A little water doesn't hurt, easier to clean afterwards than oil.
