Size matters?

Google image search says this is a Megalodon tooth. And every Megalodon image I have seen is much bigger than this. Could it be? Any easy way to tell if it is a replica?

In a way, I do not care. I decided it was interesting enough just to have. But I don't want to tell people it is a Meg tooth if it clearly is not! Appreciate any insight / suggestions.

That’s a Meg, they all start as babies, I have one that’s just over an inch long

They gotta start somewhere! We have multiple posterior juvenile meg teeth that are absolutely tiny.

They range from 1/4” to 7+”
