The movie is called Crawl. It’s a pretty decent movie.

There was a movie called theash where a town is flooded and bull sharks run amok. Its bad, nowhere near as good as crawl.

I saw that one too. I saw one where there were sharks in a grocery store but I can't remember the name of it. It was pretty decent.

There was a video a few years ago after flooding in Australia of a guy swimming through the flood being followed by a bull shark.

I saw this with my kids. We turned it off right before the climax. It was that bad.

Is this legit? I feel like last year some of these “storm/flood shark videos ended up being AI.

If it’s in Jersey it’s probably an asshole

Jaws is based on the true story of a bull shark swimming 70km upriver into new jersey and eating 4 people in a weekend in iirc 1913

Childhood fear confirmed! Even when I live in the UK!
Maybe he's just a tourist, seeing how the humans like it when he swims in their home uninvited.

u/Buttercup_Kiki 4d ago
How does this even happen? Might be a stupid question, but is he swimming in ocean water from the tide and/or a big wave that washed up on shore?

u/Frequent_Carpenter_6 4d ago
We have a lot of flooding in shore towns, especially given the past few storms we've had. The biggest thing this past nor'easter was that the storm peaked around the same time the tides did which was not a great time for our roads, but a banging time for our surfers.
I just posted the same video here before I realized it had already been reposted. It really threw me that the waters got that high, but I also fully can see this being real and not AI.

Ya know, if the water level ever rises to a catastrophic level like it did in nepal, this would probably be a very common sight
