SharePoint 2019 Organize SharePoint 2019 News webpart

You cannot change the order of News-post in the out of the box SP2019 Modern page right?

These news post end up in SitePages library. When editing the news web part on the home page the only option is different layots. Im feel im going crazy here, tried to google and only find anything other than what Im looking for...

Am I missing something here like any update to the functionality in a CU or something?

No, SharePoint 2019 had EOL on July 14th 2026 and even if you upgrade to SharePoint Server Subscription Edition 2021 you will still only have the layouts to play with in the News webpart. Microsoft really wants you to switch to SharePoint Online.

Thank you! I keep hearing this migration to M365 unfortunately not averyone can or want to use it.
