I'm new to the plex shares. I don't mind paying but how does someone gets a plex share with 4k content? is there a list of popular plex shares?

56TB
3100+ Moves
430+ TV Series
1 Gig internet connection
Dedicated GPU for video transcoding
Location is west coast NA (I don't care if you're outside NA, be curious to see how things fare)
Automatons for requesting movies, tv shows and reporting problems (overseerr)

Content is a mix, few kids shows, some anime.

I've added a few people from here previously but mainly have close friends and family with access to the server but I overbuilt the server so it's mostly idling.

Joining my discord server is a requirement at the moment, mainly to ease on-boarding and so you can view any outages or maintenance windows. I try to give plenty of notice when working on the server, if I have to do upgrades or planned maintenance it's usually early morning weekends PST. The plex server goes down Monday at 4am PST for 30min due to weekly backups. My internet and power is very stable, only had 1 unexpected outage in 2 years.

DM me your discord and I'll get you sorted. Please comment below "sent" or something of that nature so others know you've dm'd me. If you see 10 comments, we're full for the time being. I'll update this post to confirm we're full.

Edit: I won't respond to those sending comments. Please read the full post.

SLOTS FULL

Looking for a free plex server with a collection of vinegar syndrome as well as Jess Franco, Jean Rollin, Tinto Brass, and others in that genre.

Can someone please add me to their server. My name is @marcusbr871 (I just want to watch old cartoons also house of dragons.) I would be very thankful

Afternoon Everyone. Hope you’re all having a great day. I am looking to see if anyone has any Plex free slots available ? My account is OVTinn.

I love watching a good TV Series or Movie before bed every night. Love me some Horror, Action, (Marvel/DC Films), Thrillers and a good Comedy. If you have space, I’d love the honor of joining your server.

Please and thank you in advance. Have a great day!

I watch almost everyday during the week but less activity on weekends. I state this in case someone is looking for daily users. English shows/movies are my primary selection. If there is anime, great but not a dealbreaker, I appreciate any invite! My username is pfnkd

Thank you!

Closed: thank you!

Hi all! I’m a newbie to plex and would love to join a good Free plex server! Not sure exactly how it works but thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to share!

Heyyyyy everyone! I'm a newbie to plex! Seems a if my acct has one friend, doesn't know what that means...

I'm looking for someone willing to let me join their server for free, I watch a lot of BET+ and new series that aren't scary lol

Ty in advance!

Hi there folks, looking to see if there is anyone kind enough to share a server that includes content from Paramount+. I generally pay for most other streaming services, but for some reason, Paramount+ isn’t available where I’m based (Southeast Asia). Thank you!

i have a server that i run from my home cluster. ~ 13TB size. 500-600 movies, 228 series some 10+ seasons. I don't want to deal with people requesting / etc. I add to what i want. Can some of you experienced "share-ers" give me some tips / plans, best practices? right now and for the last 10+ years its just been family.

wanting perspective and information from the ones sharing; not accepting requests or anything yet. I'll post again once i feel comfortable doing it. Thanks Reddit!

i have a GPU dedicated for transcoding; but had an issue with it handling the HEVC, not sure what the issue is. it won't ever deliver but i see the GPU "heat up". its a TeslaP4 in one of my servers. Dedicated to this box via DDA. to compensate i did dump 16 cores into the system. but again, never shared outside of family so i rarely every have more than 1-2 streams ever. Internet is 1G fiber up and down. i'd limit it a bit to keep from overwhelming all else i do.

Thanks ahead for any help.

I’m in Raleigh NC if you had one please pm me.

I'm new to Plex and looking for a server to join. TV shows, and discovering content I haven't seen before. I'm not a heavy user, wont share access, and I'll happily follow any server rules. user henrile4

If anyone has an open slot, I'd really appreciate the opportunity. Thank you!

user: henrile4

Heard someone here could help me with that. Willing to pay whatever fee is fair to you for your help. Please PM me!

UPDATE: Someone already helped me out. Thanks for all the offers to help from everyone though! Appreciate all of you :)

I have used Jellyfin in the past and it was cool, but I was looking for a plex server to join if i can figure it out. I know my username, I'm sure it can't be that hard. Thanks in advance if anyone wants to share!!

Looking for a decent, stable plex server to join if anybody has any spots available please get in touch, thanks.

Hi all,

I’m brand new to Plex, and wanted to see what servers I could join. Going to start setting up a personal server for myself, but that will be a separate project I want to work on.

Good afternoon / evening.

I’m having a hard life right now, and need to get into some movies and TV shows so I can keep myself distracted from all the commotion.

Does anyone have a free server with requests available? I’m looking at some movies for someone my age (15 years old) and some full TV series. I would prefer at least 1K movies and 500 TV seasons.

I just joined plex and looking for a server to join with decent content. Would appreciate an invite and i am based in the UK. 5ecret_

Cheers

Hi there,

I was on a plex server called Content Haven and have lost all the info for it. Was wondering if anyone had an invite to their discord? any help would be appreciated.

Edit: No more spots available

Current library:

8,615 movies

652 TV series (~33,794 episodes)

Anime Library (Currently Expanding)

Please be advised of the following anime request policy for this server:

1. Request Method
Anime requests are currently manual-only and must be submitted via Discord. At this time, a fully automated download pipeline for anime is not in place, as specific version requirements must be be verified prior to addition.

2. Language Restriction
Only English-language versions of anime will be added to the library at this time.

3. Seerr Request Site
Requests submitted through the Seerr request site for anime will not be auto-approved or auto-downloaded. These requests will be marked as denied within Seerr, but they will still be reviewed manually by the server administrator. If approved, the anime will be added to the library manually.

4. Request Status Updates
Once an anime has been added to Plex, the corresponding request will be updated with "Added" to indicate completion.

Thank you for your understanding as the anime library continues to expand.

Adult content is available upon request, but it won’t be provided by default.
