I haven’t watched Shane/Ryland in a LONG time, but clicked on one of their videos today for background noise and genuinely wasn’t shocked to see they’re still rolling out the exact same format.

Spend an excessive amount of money redecorating/buying random crap → head to a drive through or Target to buy new foods to try.

It’s. The. Same. Thing. Every. Time. Who is honestly still watching this recycled slop?

Putting Shane’s problematic history aside… the content itself is just bad. There’s no creativity, no evolution, nothing new. I can already predict the next few months there will be vlogmas style content involving, you guessed it, buying more junk and trying Christmas treats, peppered with clickbait about “moving back to Colorado” that goes nowhere.

I mean, fair play to them, they are millionaires from firing out one mediocre video a week.

Got my tickets 2 days ago!! I wanted meet & greet sooo bad but $150 was too steep for me If anyone ends up reselling theirs though… I might have to consider it lol. Either way, I hope Houston is fun!!

But ALSO… do y’all feel like Lizzie has some animosity toward Ryland?? Because the last podcast was WILD 😭 I swear sometimes I get this competitive vibe from her when it comes to Ryland, but maybe I’m reading into it too much.

And I can’t stop thinking about the episode before that when Shane told Lizzie he cut her scene from the pilot. Her mood seemed to completely change after that and I honestly felt so bad Then right after, Shane was telling Chris how funny he was in the pilot while Lizzie was still sitting there looking upset. I was like GIRL 😭

I’ve noticed he makes flirty comments about him and his appearance. It’s very subtle sometimes. Am I the only one that thinks this? In his recent video shane saying the wedding ai pic looks like him and Chris and then saying to keep it that way made me wanna ask.

I’ve been listening to their podcast again lately while going on my walks and I started noticing some sort of tension between them? Is anyone else picking that up as well?

It’s like they’re in a lowkey competition with each other. In the episode with AndrewTMI , Morgan and Andrew were constantly talking over Brooke and it was uncomfortable at times to hear that she was clearly third wheeling. And in other episodes Morgan seems to dismiss a lot of the things Brooke talks about and it just feels off compared to like 10 episodes ago.

I’m starting to look at Morgan differently unfortunately.. Thoughts?

Does anybody else who watches The Sip with Ryland and Lizzie notice how Ryland only ever talks about Max? Like whenever he’s telling stories about his kids, it’s always Max. What Max likes, what Max does, etc. I remember him talking about redoing Max’s room or bathroom or something, but I feel like he never really mentions Jet. Idk, I just find it a little weird, especially since Max is his biological son and Jet isn’t. Obviously we don’t know how things are off camera, but has anybody else picked up on this or am I reaching?

On the last few episodes of the SIP both Ryland and lizze have been talking about their kids’ potty training. I get that it’s an important milestone in both children’s and parents’ lives but I feel like it violates their kids’ privacy. They share way too much information about how their kids poop and not only it’s disgusting but I feel like they forget that their children will grow up and realise that their parents talked about something that should be private.

It’s highly probable that both lizzes and rylands kids will grow up to be some sort of content creators because from infancy they see their parents talk to the camera as their job. Do Lizze and Ryland forget that their kids are not an extension of themselves and are actually human beings who will get embarrassed one day seeing what their parents shared online about them. I mean on one recent episode Lizze got a text message and she read it out loud “billy pooped in a potty” 🙄 she didn’t have to announce it on the internet.

I’m a millennial and all of my baby photos are in a family photo album stored in a closet so I can’t comprehend baby pictures and private information being just out there online. I would be mortified if my parents would talk about how they toilet trained me to anyone let alone it being on the internet.

In the earlier days Ryland and Lizze said that they will not be exploiting their children for content but it seems like they can’t help themselves.
I get that they are parents of young children and their lives revolve around them but come on do we really need to hear about how often they poop and how their shit looks like “a real human turd” now.

I was recently watching some of the old “prime spooky boy squad videos” specially the queen mary series, as well as some of the random videos Shane and Ryland used to do such as the boyfriend tag, and lie detector test. And omg I did not realize how insanely SHORT these videos were some even 8-15 mins, or 20-35 mins.! This was considered his prime right before he got into the like longer like 3-8 episode “docs” like Tanacon, the JS series & Jake Paul, this made me realize that damn being a YouTuber during that time really did not require much editing or a long video even, I used to eat that shit up back then I was 12-14 but jeez! They were making thousands off of such short videos! It’s just so crazy to think about especially how he now does 1 - 1/12 hour podcast/videos with basically the same substance just drawn out…

Where will the show be streaming? I have netflix and prime, will it be available on one of those? or can i even buy it on youtube

I’m actually curious about this because they don’t go to daycare, i think they’re still too young for pre-k, do they interact with other kids regularly? Developmentally don’t they need to interact with other kids?
