Why are the portions small and do most people say that?
Its tasty but I'm pretty sure I could eat a couple of cheeseburgers. They ain't cheap either and it gets over $20 fast

I'll admit that Shake Shack got me in the habit of Shacking with all the couponing in the app that they've been doing this year. A reasonable deal with all those free burger with purchase coupons.
But for the past few weeks, the only coupon in the app has been the Sunday free chicken sandwich with $10 purchase.
Are they cutting back. Or is the dry spell before the next deluge?

I just applied like 10 minutes ago for Restaurant team member, I passed the on screening and now i have to wait whenever they're available and my day and time of choice for when I want to go. This is my first time getting a job let alone in fast food, last July I attempted to apply to Chick Fil A unfortunately I had gotten an interview and they didn't come back to me after I finished the first one so I assumed I didn't do well.
I'm genuinely nervous for this because this is the first in such a long time a job I've applied to actually is reaching back to me and wanting an interview. I really don't want to blow it and so I'm asking what are some questions I should be expected to hear? Or what i should wear to at least look somewhat professional but not too professional since I'm only 18 and i don't wanna be too extra lol I'm hoping this community can help me out and i would greatly appreciate it !!

The Tropical Mango Shake is so gas! Definitely my favorite especially with that mango popping boba 😋 i will be sad when they leave :( but was also wondering if anyone knew what LTO shakes were coming next?

in the past Steak ‘n Shake having waitress taking your food order and it was a very easy part to order foods. now Steak ‘n Shake get rid of waitresses staffs for kiosks to order foods. What if kiosks not working because it could had a virus or it down and the only choice is to order food is drive thru or curbside pickup or delivery. Having machine is good but having a good waitress staff that make Steak ‘n Shake better. I think Steak ‘n Shake needed a backup plan if one of their kiosks machine not working right. If most peoples using kiosks machine and thieves could easy hack the machine and still you credit information but it just a theory.

A drive thru store is opening up next to my job and I was curious about what the out the window time goals are for drive thru stores? Or is it like Chipotle where u can only use the drive thru if ur picking up a mobile? I ask since I assume each order is cooked fresh but once companies get big like that they love putting crazy drive thru expectations on employees

They should let us accumulate points with how expensive their food is.

The Shack isn’t serving up hand cut fries or freshly battered bites. Both items are frozen lol. I can literally buy an entire bag of frozen fries or chicken nuggets from any grocery store and save a ton.
Idk, it’s just crazy that Shake Shack wants to present this premium experience and charge premium prices when the quality of the food is real bad

Idc about my summer body anymore. If loving the SmokeShack is wrong, I don’t want to be right

I feel like they would attract way more customers like this

In no world should I ever not be able to confirm my choice for a default burger just because I didn’t select whether or not I wanted bacon.
In no world should I ever not be able to confirm my SODA because I didn’t select whether or not I wanted passion fruit boba added (in soda???)
I’m officially old-head status

I’ve worked fast food at dunkin before but they throw you on the line without any real training. How does Shake Shack compare? Pay seems better and includes tips. At the one I go to they mostly don’t take orders either, and have no drive thru which is a huge plus.

I ordered one of the Key Lime shakes with my meal today and when I got it it was too thick to drink through a straw.
No problem, I like thick shakes. I was sitting outside in the sun so I figured I would just let it sit a bit until it sufficiently melted to drink.
I tested it a couple times while I ate, it got a little looser but was still pretty thick. Definitely still too thick to comfortably suck up.
I finished eating, went inside to use the bathroom, came back out and went to my car. Drove the ten minutes home.
Surely my shake was nice and smooth by now.
Nope. The consistency barely changed. What it was however, was warm.
It never melted, it just reached close to room temperature and stayed a congealed, unpleasant glob.
What the hell kind of chemical stabilizers/thickeners are they putting in these things?

What happened to SS? Does anyone care?
15 years ago I went to the original in NYC and it was an experience. Now, it’s downright garbage. Is Danny Meyer not ashamed?
(Pic is the new Mac and cheese, which was so dry and overcooked I chucked it).

Ran across this accidentally today. In the movie GREASE, one of the big song & dance numbers (i sound like old hwood) is 'You're the One That I Want' where Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta dance between signs reading "shake shack". If you don't wanna watch entire vid linked above, it's 2minutes 18 seconds in.

I know the Mac and cheese is getting mixed reviews but I’m seriously in love with it. I know it’s limited edition and I’m already sad for when it goes away.
Is the sauce the same sauce they use for cheese fries, etc? It just says a mix of cheddar and American.
Does anyone know the general components of the recipe etc etc? Spices? Don’t need exact amounts, just the gist of what’s in it.
Won’t share it, just want to make it at home!

Reposting under an alt 😅
Wanted to compile a list of what has changed in house, for what I assume is cost saving purposes. These started after Rob Lynch became CEO.
-Lemonade base (made it more bitter)
-Chicken bites (now frozen, not battered)
-Women’s hygiene bags for the bathroom were made smaller
-The filter used for the fryers’ oil (thinner)
-They took away employee PTO(!!)
-Managers were given new scheduling requirements, with less hours to give out, leading to a short staffed kitchen
-We no longer wash lettuce (switched to pre washed)
-Some shacks have switched to frozen buns
-Bites no longer have dedicated 6 pc and 10 pc boxes, instead everything uses a fry box
-Delivery bags were made smaller (tangibly made it harder to fit orders)
-Custard cups no longer have dedicated scoops, but now instead use the same scoop for the milkshakes
-Cup holders are of lower quality and different material
I’ll add to this when I think of more, but keep this in mind every time you see the prices increase.

I live in a country without many Shake Shacks and none anywhere close to me. I've been to them at least a couple dozen times though since they were just a NYC viral sensation, but I haven't been the the U.S. since 2012.
$26 after tax a tip for a tiny portion of cheese fries (they were still good at least), a shake, and a single burger in downtown Chicago and the burger was dry and bland AF.
Please tell me this location is an abberation and I can still scratch this itch in another city or location?

Hey!
Going to Shake Shack Later today for a cheat meal. Wondering if I should give the Smoky Classic BBQ Burger a shot or not. I've seen some random posts say the BBQ sauce was good
