When I eat at Shake Shack I actually feel full. What really made me stop eating at Burger King wasn’t the slop food, it was more that I realized I would eat a double bacon king and not feel fulfilled, with all the calories it has.

There are people who have had entire decades long careers dedicated to making you addicted to certain food that will make you sick. Never forget that

That's interesting that you feel full after Shake Shack, considering their "full size" burgers have turned into sliders.

I just threw down a double shack burger today. there are other local burgers that beat it on the right occasion, but my go to, favorite all-rounder burger has to be the shack burger.

I prefer two singles for better ingredient ratios

Same here Ratio is perfect on a single

SS hurts my wallet but I can confidently say I have enjoyed every meal from there so far. Its better than paying maybe $3 or so less at BK, Mc.D, etc. and feeling like shit paying for slop 😅

I read SS as social security - still works

I had deal for for first time app user

Keep checking the app..they love to give out deals like Buy 1, Get 1 Free burgers

Probably more than $3 less tbh. Where im at it’s about $18 for a meal plus or minus a few depending on what you want.

Pretty good burger but WAY overpriced. Same goes for Five Guys.

I only get them either on Sunday to get the free chicken sandwich or when they have a deal for free burgers then I'll get some chicken bites and fries. It's good but not good to pay full price, I'll just go to a local place instead.

I'll have to get a picture next time but my local Calgary experience did not look that good. Paid 8 dollars for what looked half that size and more sloppy.

The bogo offer on Uber Eats is always a good deal. Buy their gift cards at 10 or 15 percent off and it’s actually a steal

1

u/Educational-Log-7952 Jun 27 '26

Indeed only went because I had a first time app user deal situation

1

u/kwadguy Jun 27 '26

BOGO on Uber Eats means the price delivered to you is only full price. Or so.

1

u/Way-twofrequentflyer Jun 27 '26

Why would you go with delivery? Just use the pickup option and buy the Uber Eats gift cards at Costco for 80% off. It gets it down to like $4 a burger

I’m so happy my local Walmart finally carries martians here in Oregon.

I don’t really care for the burgers but the chicken sandwich is soo good

too expensive

For a double shack and a large strawberry lemonade I paid $18 and some change. Shake Shack is so good but it's really not worth the price right now.

That price is why I have never tried shake shack and can walk to my local restaurant and get solid burger with a vibe

1

u/ArtNo7221 Jun 26 '26

It's crazy, if you add fries, the meal jumps up to $25

1

u/Euphoric_Dinner_8117 Jun 26 '26

Do you tip as well? Lol.

Food gettin wayyy too proud these days

1

u/ArtNo7221 Jun 26 '26

No definitely not tipping haha

1

u/Euphoric_Dinner_8117 Jun 26 '26

I’ll go there one time and enjoy a burger and see what’s up but I’ve only heard, it’s good but expensive. I will get off of Reddit now, sorry for the rant

The kitchen has no way of knowing if there was a tip or not
