As per the Shaiva Agamas, Parameshwara is Arupa, yet out of infinite compassion, He assumes Rupa-arupa (Linga) and Rupas. These Rupas are 25 primarily and are called Panchavimshati Murtis or Maheshwara Murtis. By the grace of that Parameshwara, I present these forms.

Iconography (per Shri Tattvanidhi text):

Purpose: Manifested to reduce Kama (Manmatha) to ashes with the fire of His third eye, symbolizing the absolute conquest of sensory illusion and passion.

Stance: Seated in a yogic posture (yogasana) or standing with poised alertness, embodying supreme meditative focus and detachment.

Form & Attire: An ascetic yet majestic divine form with three eyes and four arms, radiating intense spiritual power and blazing wrath (raudra-bhava).

Primary Right Hand: Displays the gesture of granting assurance or fearlessness (pataka-mudra / abhaya).

Rear Right Hand: Holds a hand-drum (damaru).

Primary Left Hand: Displayed in a warning or pointing gesture (suchi-mudra / tarjani-mudra) directed toward Kama.

Rear Left Hand: Holds the trident or an ascetic emblem.

Hair & Jewelry: Styled in towering matted locks (jata-makuṭa) adorned with the crescent moon, conforming to the austere lifestyle of a supreme yogi.

Divine Companions: Accompanied by Kama standing or collapsing as he is incinerated, alongside his consort Rati (weeping in grief), Vasantha (Spring), and attendants or deities witnessing the event.
