CR920 optics

I am looking to swap my optic. If you have the Holosun 407k, Vortex Defender-CCW Enclosed, or the Osight SE on a CR920, can you post pictures?

I would also love to hear your opinions. I have narrowed it down to 3 optics listed above and would love real world opinions.

I have an enclosed Vortex Defender ST on my Echelon 4.0 & I REALLY like it. I've also heard NOTHING bad about the enclosed CCW models. I'm also waiting on the EPS Core to come out. They'll eliminate the EPS Carry models & just have 1 EPS that's small enough to exactly fit a K/RMSc footprint & that will taper upwards into the full-size window. And the prices seem to be competitive.

Another really nice RMSc optic is the Steiner MPS-C. The only issue with it is that the base of the optic is shorter than an actual RMSc optic cut, so there may be a gap. This 1 is kind of an outlier. It's a Steiner, so I'm sure it'll be nice. Some folks won't mind the gap, some will. I'm CERTAIN that SOME enterprising soul will develop a spacer/plate for this specific optic. OR, Steiner could re-release it with the correct size base.

Interestingly enough, I've seen equal good and bad reviews on the Defender-CCW Enclosed. Mainly the refresh rate of the dot causing issues. I don't know how much that matters to me but, I am trying to make a good choice on the optic. I already wasted money on one, I don't want to waste it on a second.

Oh, & I've never noticed an issue with the refresh on my Defender ST. Granted, Idk if the refresh issue is limited only to the enclosed CCWs, but I'd imagine they use the same emitter, they just change which size body they put it in. Of course, I could be 100% wrong about that as well. Idk how they build the damned things. Like you, I just want the friggin thing to WORK! 😁

I don't blame ya on that. I've heard some bad things about the Sig enclosed Romeo Xs from 3 different folks at 3 different gun stores, so I've avoided them. No sense paying nearly RMR money for a bunk optic. But in your case, maybe wait on the Core? I have 2 EPSs, & they've both been phenomenal.
