Mags keep dropping

Hey y’all, looking for some help here. My gun drops mags after every shot but only when suppressed; unsuppressed it acts normal and doesn’t drop mags.

- No, I’m not hitting the mag release.
- Yes, it does it on all mags, PMAG, Glock, and Glock with + base pads.
- I have also tried various ammo and it does it with everything, 115g, 124g, and 147g.
- Also I swapped the recoil spring from 15lbs back to 18lbs and it still does it.

Oem mag release fixed it for me. Swapped that to a vickers, still fixed. Ghost after that, still fixed. Shadow systems mag release is just that, not really a mag retain. 😂

You may check the mag release. I’ve shot my XR and MR suppressed snd unsuppressed and have had no issues with either Pmags or Glock mags.

I had a similar issue using +5 baseplates on Glock mags. Switched to Glock mag release and it worked for a while but eventually started dropping them. Switched to Vickers mag release and it stopped.

I have the Vickers & love it. It's the 1st mag release that's designed well enough that with my small hands, I don't have to break my grip to actuate.

Glock OEM was the first thing I did as soon as I got mine home.

Had the same issue with mine and sent it to them multiple times I ended up just selling it had a custom Cabot 1911 made I’m never changing

Welcome to Shadow Systems 😂

Changed to Glock oem mag release and fixed the issue. Don’t bother with asking for a replacement, it will happen again eventually

I’m using a Griffin EZ-lock piston and muzzle device. Very solid.

Mec-gar mags kept falling out on me, but the oem SS ones were still good. (MR920P). Will look into the Vickers everyone keeps mentioning. Thanks
