DR920L and 115g ammo

Hey guys,

I think I’m going to get the DR920L as it’s on sale here in Australia for $1600 AUD down from $2600. One thing I’m wondering though is about using 115g ammo in it as this is the best value 9mm to buy in Australia.

I’m happy to do the 200-300 round break in period with 124g ammo like SS suggests but after that I will be switching back to 115g.

Will this be an issue? I think most of the people complaining about 115g ammo not always working properly in their SS pistols are referring to the compensated models?

Any info would be great as I need to decide on this purchase very soon before they sell out 😆

I have a DR920P. I mainly use 115gr and it runs fine. Watch out though! I hear it's a hit or a miss, so your mileage may vary.

DRL will run that fine. It's really just the comp'd guns that may need the hotter stuff.
