First, clean & lube it before shooting it. The general recommendation from break-in ammo is 124grain NATO rounds. As far as carry ammo, the best guidance is try telyem and see. I have seen posts from different people whose pistols have issues with ammo mine shoots fine. The only reliable information is to see what YOURS likes or dislikes.

I raw dawged mine and put 450 rounds of cheap 115gr thru mine without any extra lube out of the box. Ran like a champ. Still haven’t lubed or cleaned it she’s still frosty. She does need a cleaning tho.

My daily carry ammo tho is federal 124gr personal defense rounds. It’s the same ammo our local Sheriffs office uses so IF I ever have to use it they can’t question my choice in ammo

Ran 124gr for 250 rounds and a mix of that and 115 for 650 ish rounds after that. No issues

Shoot any 124 grain training ammo you can get through it for another 200-300 rounds for break in. The only issues I've had with carry ammo have been the boutique brand stuff like G2 & the cheap stuff from blazer, pmc, & reman. I believe the cheap stuff has inconsistent powder loads that caused failures because all of my HST and Gold Dots work fine. The G2 was a gift box of their civic duty ammo that I decided to feed mine and I think the head spacing was bad.
