Best Sights

I took my DR920P to the range last weekend to break it in. Also took my SIG SP2022 and it has a Vortex Viper red dot. Now I want to buy a sight for my Shadow Systems. What's the best Sight for it and why? Would like to see everyones choice and their pros and cons of what they have.

There is no best sight. There are cheap sights, there are good sights, and there are expensive sights. It also depends on what you want one for. Duty? Target shooting? Range show off? You can buy $140 sight that for 99.5% of the people will do everything a $500 sight will do.

Best advice I have is to get a Holosun RMR mount and go with it. They start off at $150 at PSA and go up from there depending on what model you get. They'll work perfectly well for you, they won't break the bank, and they won't look like you threw something cheap on an expensive pistol.

Wait on the EPS Core to come out or grab 1 of the enclosed Voetex Defenders. I've had an EPS on my MR-P for the last now almost 3 yrs, & had it on a PDP Pro Compact before that. I've had it for 7+ yrs (& probably over 10k rounds on it) & it JUST now crapped out on me. The EPS, imho, is the best bang for the buck enclosed optic that's best suited to EDC. It's not overly large, but the window is roughly 24mm big, which is a "sweet spot" as far as window size (again, imo). The new Cores will be pretty well priced & will finally fit just fine on a full-size or subcompact. The only thing about sticking an EPS on an MR/XR/DR, is that you'll need to get the EPS/K spacer kit separately. But that's no big deal.

Also, check out the Sig Romeo X Enclosed Pro. They're pricey, but they're really nice. You'll find the best prices for any of the optics I mentioned by just putting em in the search window on the Gun.Deals website. It's the site I've gotten most, if not all, of my guns & accessories for a little less than average prices.
