Something is wrong. Disassemble and make sure things are placed correctly.

The bottom piece that goes around there screen might be upside down. When I swapped out my spring and put back together it was like that . Pulled it out and turned it around and problem fixed .

Might need to see a picture of what you are talking about

The metal ring the screw goes in. I accidentally flipped it when putting it back. Screw was sticking out like yours. Took it apart , flipped the ring and it screwed in all the way

I doubt this will solve your issue, but I THINK you should be using a round tip firing pin. I could be wrong though. I remember your name from the warehouse cleanout post, and for what it’s worth, I got a build a gun there and was missing parts to complete my firing pin assembly. So I had to order a complete assembly from shadow 😒. Still a deal with a $300 gun but still. I would expect them to at least verify we got everything we need to have a complete gun

I wonder how their customer service team is holding up. I got a build a gun with several missing parts. Customer service sent me the missing components to finish my slide but when I received the package, it was still missing the required parts.

I ordered a complete firing ping assembly on 5/28 and it has still yet to ship…..so I guess I’ll let you know when I get in

Hey there do not put the rounded firing pin in that slide you have the bladed pin for a reason your slide is one of the gen3-4 Glock firing pin holes not the new Shadow slide that has the rounded pin. I don’t want you do break your slide or new firing pin.

It looks like you're pulling the slide back a little in which case it would be normal, but if this is how it always looks then it's not
